Google Corrects Gmail Exploit

Search engine Google has fixed a security flaw that was occurring in their email service, Gmail. The company did not reveal the nature of flaw, only that they had corrected it.
The flaw, which was first reported in Nana, an Israeli online news site, allowed hackers to "steal" GMail cookies that contained account login information, giving the malicious party control over the stolen account. Once in possession of these cookies, accounts could be accessed even if the original owner changed to password.
According to PCPro, Google spokesman Nathan Tyler said, "Google was recently alerted to a potential security vulnerability affecting the Gmail service. We have since fixed this vulnerability, and all current and future Gmail users are protected."
